Ginger’s Bakery is a music production house (really an apartment) in Kingston, NY available for in-person and remote collaborations. I am a singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist…and former pastry chef. Hence the name. 

While baking up sweet treats for customers, I dreamt all day about making music full-time. I made (wrote, sang, played guitar, produced, mixed, and mastered) a song about it called “Frosting.”

After quitting the bakery, but before releasing my debut album with David Baron (The Lumineers, Michael Marcagi, Noah Kahan) “Stop-Motion,” I worked as a freelance song creator online. Through that work, I met my collaborators and now label, Keep Good Company Records. We made a number  of demos and brought them to David. Here they are:

While working as a freelancer in a much different apartment, in a remote location, with no real instruments other than my acoustic guitar and an electric guitar found in a dumpster, I had to be self-reliant, resourceful, and efficient. I did everything myself- from banging on my laptop for percussion to learning to mix and master - I did it all. It was rapid paced, resourceful production. 

For my own releases as an artist, I prefer to collaborate because I love learning from like-minded musicmakers and having another voice in the room. I’m a firm believer that a song goes where it wants, and I am here to make sure it gets there. I’d love to be a voice in your room, or have you be a voice in mine. 

I made my second album with A.J. Yorio (Michael Marcagi, Liv Romano, Chesle) called “Freeze Frame,” and decided to launch my own production imprint with my label combining all my experience under one roof to work with likeminded creatives to bake music together.
